We use only the information needed to provide what you ask for, keep this site secure and—if you choose—improve it. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Email updates: We use your email address, language and consent record to send updates you request, based on your consent. Your subscription becomes active when you submit the checked form and continues until you unsubscribe. We keep only the withdrawal evidence needed to honor your choice and review that need yearly.
Appointments: We use the contact, pet and visit details you provide to respond to the step you request before a possible appointment. We delete requests after 12 months. Our legal basis is the pre-contractual step you request. Do not include unnecessary information about other people.
Site operation: Essential session and language cookies keep forms secure and remember your language. A one-minute in-memory IP counter prevents form abuse. Short, rotating security and error logs may contain IP address, URL and query, time, status, duration and browser/device details. We rely on our legitimate interest in a secure, reliable site. These records are never used for advertising; the proxy log is used only for the basic visitor and funnel measurement described below, and necessary incident evidence may be kept longer for security or legal claims.
Basic visitor and funnel measurement: To estimate daily and hourly visitors by broad region and the path from the homepage to the appointment page and an accepted email-subscription submission, we temporarily examine connection IP addresses, requested paths and browser/device details from rotating server logs. For each hour, we compare IP addresses in memory to estimate unique stage visits and adjacent transitions by the same address less than one hour apart. We immediately reduce browser/device details to mobile or desktop and location to one broad band. This measurement stores no IP address, address hash, user agent, session identifier or individual event and sends no visitor address to MaxMind. We retain only aggregate visitor estimates and hourly stage and transition counts; hourly aggregates are deleted after 24 months. The underlying security logs rotate automatically.
Analytics and Maps: If you accept analytics, the six-month analytics_choice cookie remembers your choice and Microsoft Clarity receives page URLs, interactions, performance and device/browser data, and pseudonymous cookie identifiers. Forms are masked and advertising storage stays off. Clarity playback is kept for 30 days and click/heatmap data for up to 9 months. The Google Map loads automatically; Google receives connection and device information and may read or set its own cookies. Sirius Vets does not store the map request, and directions remain available. Our legal basis is consent for Clarity and legitimate interests for showing the clinic location.

Who receives information
Hetzner hosts the site in Germany, and Google Workspace delivers email. MaxMind supplies the local GeoLite2 City database and receives no visitor address from this processing. After analytics acceptance, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited provides Clarity; when the map loads, Google Ireland Limited provides Maps. Microsoft or Google may process information outside the EEA using the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where available and Standard Contractual Clauses otherwise. Their current terms are linked below.
Your choices
Information comes from you, your connection or, for Microsoft Clarity analytics and the Google Map, your browser. Email and consent are required to join the mailing list; a contact method is required for an appointment request. Microsoft Clarity analytics is optional; the basic aggregate visitor and funnel estimates described above do not depend on this choice. The Google Map loads automatically; if it is blocked, directions remain available. We do not use this information for automated decisions.

Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to legitimate-interest processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email info@siriusvets.gr. We may ask for proportionate proof of identity and normally respond within one month. You may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
